if you’re meant to be with someone, it will work out. whether it’s next month or in five years, what’s meant to be will always be

I fell in love with poetry at a really young age and never persued my love because I let school and grades distort my understanding of the English language and the art of poetry. Poetry is to me what music is to so many. An outlet for emotion; emotions you may never have even felt, an understanding; of things you never imagined were possible, a new outlook; for the problems you face and the problems many other face. To me ‘If I should have a daughter’ gave me the optimism that one day I would mature, sort my life out and have a family. But poetry has an interesting ambiguity that can change your perspective depending on your mood or situation, sometimes I am the mother and sometimes I am the daughter and that is why I love that poem. Its simplicity is very becoming of the person I wish to be and wish not to be.

Give me your sleepy kisses. Your legs intertwined with mine. Your head on my chest, fingers exploring my body. Give me all your dreams and vulnerability and know it’s safe in my heart.

Tribute to Steve Irwin, a guy who genuinely loved nature and animals.

This man was beyond real

“Crocodiles are easy. They try to kill and eat you. People are harder. Sometimes they pretend to be your friend first.”
- Steve Irwin (r.i.p.)

okay but that snake bit him right in the neck and he didnt even flinch

thats how you know he’s australian….

Funny joke aside, he also knew that the snake he was handling was not venomous, it was only biting him to show it was not happy with the situation it was put in. If it was venomous, he wouldnt have had it that close to himself

“If we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save things that they love.”

- Steve Irwin
